Default Why is it?

States like Kansas and Missouri who say they have a wild pig problem, do not allow hunting of wild pigs to curb the problem.

Apparently Kansas feels that sport hunting doesn't significantly reduce the hog population. They could be right, I guess. Oklahoma reports a population of over 600,000, far exceeding the Kansas reports of around a 1,000 except for Bourbon County where landowners refuse to allow Federal eradication.

I'm not saying they're right - just presenting the State's opinion.

Kansas refuses to admit that we have a hog problem. Give it a few more years and I'll bet they change their minds.

Wild Hog, Raccoon, Opossum, Coyote, Beaver, Skunk and Nutria, year round with no bag limits here in Florida. Add bad guys and we would have a perfect Game Season!
