I know the feeling Teddybear. I need to load .357 Mag, .45 auto and .223 in that order and I need a bunch of each. Now if I just had some ambition.....

I cleaned, lubed, resized, primed and inspected 50 .223 cases today. I plan to do another 50 this evening. With a little luck, I'll finish loading them tomorrow. The hard part is done.

I finished up the 100 .223s today. These are tailored for Tristan's MVP. They also shoot pretty good in my RRA Varmint rifle, but I need to do some work up on loads for it. I really haven't tried to find the best load for it yet.

It's 1 in 8 Kansas. It shoots pretty good with 60 gr Vmax and I have some 69 gr Sierra BT Match bullets I'd like to try in it. I've shot 53 gr Vmax, 55 gr Vmax, 55 gr Sierra BTSP and 60 gr Vmax thru it, but they were loaded for the MVP or the Hog Hunter. Both of those rifles have a 1 in 9 twist. The best of those loads was 26.0 gr of CFE, 60 gr Vmax, TulAmmo SRM primers and FC brass. It shoots under an inch with everything I've shot in it, so I think it will do better with a little work. For one thing, I'm almost sure CCI 400s will shoot better than the TulAmmos. The 1 in 8 should handle the 69 gr Sierras and I'm anxious to work up something for them.

You will do well with the 69 Sierras. I'll have to look, but I'm thinking that my best load was with Varget for that bullett.

Thanks Kansas. I don't have any Varget - have tried to buy some, but haven't located any. What I have is H322, H335, IMR 8208 XBR, CFE 223, IMR 4064 and 4320. The last 2 may be a little too slow, but some folks use them with heavier bullets. I'm thinking CFE 223 and Varget would probably be the best of the bunch, at least as far as burning rates go.

Did you try that CFE 223 yet, rman? I have not bought any yet, but it's on my mind.
