Kershaw Knives

I visited a knife shop yesterday that I haven't been to in over a year. They have everything from kitchen knife sets to swords. I went looking for a good spring assist pocket knife and found a nice selection of Kershaw knives. There were lots of good choices, I wound up with 2, both priced around $25. I sliced my thumb on one of them. I just barely grazed it, but it is sharp as a razor. Mine are Chinese made, but the quality is impressive. They have lots of US made Kershaws too, a little higher priced.
It's always nice to have a good pocket knife.

Good deal panther. I've always been a Gerber knife fan, but their quality isn't what it used to be. A lot of their cheaper knives are made in China now. Might have to take a look at Kershaw. My last assisted opening Gerber has a great blade, but the rubber on the grip came off. It's skeletonized now and not very comfortable to handle.

I have an assorted collection of Gerber & Kershaw some of them were or are still made in the U.S. I like both brands.

One of my Gerbers is made in China. Actually the blade is great - sharpens easily and stays sharp. The handle is (was) crappy though.

Nothing wrong with Kershaw.
